Welcome to KDV de Rakkertjes, located at Achterhoekse Molenweg 271-23 in Hengelo. We are proud to be part of Partou and provide daycare for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas are carefully designed so every child feels safe and challenged. We operate two horizontal core groups, allowing children to play with peers of the same age and ensuring activities match their developmental stage. In everything we do, we follow the Partou Pedagogy. This means we work from ten clear principles: we offer a secure base, encourage social interaction, respect each child’s individuality, and ensure consistent caregivers who truly know your child. Our pedagogical staff observe continuously so they can respond to what your child needs. We follow a fixed daily rhythm: drop-off between 07:00 and 09:00, followed by fruit and a shared moment of singing and reading. The youngest children then rest, while older children enjoy free play or join a theme-based activity. At around 11:30 we share a bread meal together, taking allergies and vegetarian preferences into account. Our outdoor space is richly equipped with natural materials for climbing, exploring and playing. We believe it is important for children to discover the world around them. Therefore, we regularly take trips to the library, the park or the petting zoo. We also provide early childhood education (VVE), paying extra attention to language development and social skills. Making music, singing and reading books are part of this, as well as working with colours, shapes and first numeracy and technical skills. We communicate with parents through the Partou parent app, where you will find photos, reports and where we can respond quickly when needed.
