Kinderdagverblijf Pukkie has been a household name in Voorburg North for 30 years. Located on the ground floor of an apartment building at Van Sevenbergestraat 43, we offer a warm, secure home-from-home for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4. As part of Vlietkinderen – a social, locally rooted childcare organisation – we are committed to equal development opportunities from the very first 1,000 days of life. We run four vertical groups and one separate baby group (0-2 years). In the vertical groups children aged 0-4 play and learn together, just like brothers and sisters at home. Our baby group is designed for calm, safe care that follows each child’s individual rhythm. We narrate everything we do, so language and trust grow from day one. Play and development are at the heart of our approach. We provide materials that match each child’s world and tailor activities daily to their well-being. Our pedagogical staff organise toddler gym, yoga, puppet theatre, music sessions and special 3+ activities for extra challenge. Every year we celebrate summer, autumn and Christmas festivals; our last anniversary featured a big farm-themed party packed with adventurous activities. Outdoor play is essential. Our spacious, secure garden is equipped for every type of weather: boots and umbrellas for rain, a water track or sandpit when the sun shines. Children explore the world daily, sharing new adventures with peers. When they turn four they move on to various local primary schools, carrying with them a solid foundation and a joyful heart. Parents stay connected through the Vlietkinderen app: view photos, read messages, request extra days or report absence with ease. Together we make every day a celebration for your child.
