Peuterspeelzaal Theresia has been a trusted place in the Bloemhof district for over 35 years, located in the same building as Theresia primary school at Strevelsweg 155 in Rotterdam. We provide care for children from 2 to 4 years old in a safe and rich play-and-learn environment. Our team consists of three qualified and experienced pedagogical staff members who are ready every morning to guide your child in their development. With us, children learn the structure of a day through play and discover the world using challenging materials. We work thematically and align our activities with groups 1/2 of Theresia primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to elementary school. Our play areas are equipped with imagination-stimulating toys, creative materials, and games that connect with the world of toddlers. We have a beautiful green playground where children get acquainted with nature. Outdoor play is a fixed part of our day. We have an enclosed outdoor space with a playhouse with slide and a large sandbox with benches. We regularly eat and drink outside and also use the field opposite our building. Our outdoor area is carefully designed with attention to different ages and safety. For parents, it's good to know that we don't have a waiting list. Your child can start immediately when there is availability. Transitioning to Theresia primary school is possible, but certainly not mandatory. You decide which primary school your child attends. We are open to everyone and value good cooperation with parents.
