Puk

Peuteropvang Puk is located at De Gasperistraat 10 in Heerlen and is part of Peuteropvang Heerlen, an organisation with 22 locations in the region. We provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location uses horizontal groups, where children of approximately the same age play and learn together. We follow a clear daily rhythm tailored to the developmental stage of toddlers. Learning through play is central: children discover new words, learn to count, play together, share with others and carry out small tasks. We use the VVE method Puk and Ko, in which Puk is the children’s friend and guides them playfully in their development. Language development is an important focus. We find reading both enjoyable and educational – which is why we use our own book series about Pim and Poes. Our pedagogical staff and volunteers provide a safe and stimulating environment where every child can be themselves. We offer half-day care and work closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition to primary school.
