PSZ het Stoerwoud

Welcome to PSZ het Stoerwoud at Nieuwegracht 30 in the heart of Utrecht. Within our monumental building we offer a safe, green and trusted environment for up to 16 children per day aged 0 to 4 years. Our close-knit team of professional pedagogical staff makes sure every child feels at home. We work in horizontal groups, so children play and develop together with peers of the same age. The spacious natural garden gives plenty of room for outdoor play, discovering nature and stimulating the senses. Sustainability and environmental awareness are naturally woven into our daily activities. Our activities are tailored to the developmental stage of young children: we sing together, craft with natural materials, read aloud from our book collection and make short trips to the park or the city. Fresh air and outdoor play are on the agenda every day. For the littlest ones we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and warm meals, taking any allergies or dietary needs into account. The bedrooms are calm and comfortably furnished so every child can rest when needed. We use natural care products and create a homely atmosphere. We believe it is important that children have fun and enjoy coming to het Stoerwoud. Through early childhood education (VVE) we playfully prepare toddlers for primary school. Parents are warmly invited for a tour and a personal introductory meeting.
