PSZ De Horst

Welcome to PSZ De Horst in Apeldoorn! We are a Smallsteps daycare center where children aged 0 to 4 years discover, develop and grow through play. Our location at Glazeniershorst 402 provides a safe and familiar place where your child has the space to be themselves. At PSZ De Horst, we work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers play and sleep separately from the preschool groups. This provides peace and structure for the little ones, while the preschool groups can focus on playful learning and preparation for elementary school. Our childcare professionals are specialized in the different developmental stages of young children and provide each child with the attention they need. We offer VVE (pre- and early school education), through which we playfully work on developing language, math and social skills. Our activities are tailored to your child's age and development. Think of making music, crafts, reading aloud, but also cooking and baking with the preschool groups. We regularly go on excursions to the nearby playground or take nature walks in the area. Outdoor play has an important place with us. Our spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities to climb, build sandcastles or simply run around. When the weather is nice, children also sleep outside in our special outdoor sleeping wagons. This not only promotes resistance, but also gives a wonderfully calming feeling. For the little ones, we take care of everything: from diapers to bottle feeding and from naps to cuddles. For the preschool groups, we serve healthy and fresh meals, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Parents receive daily updates via our Smallsteps app, so you're always informed about how your child's day went. At PSZ De Horst, we believe it's important that children feel safe and happy. We work with familiar faces and a homely atmosphere, where each child has the space to develop at their own pace. Together with you as a parent, we look at what your child needs to grow and flourish.
