Welcome to PSG Berend Botje Hoorn, location De Flierefluiter. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years in our playgroup at Akkerwinde 57 in Zwaag. Our location works closely with Montessori School De Flierefluiter, offering a unique combination of our pedagogical vision with the Montessori approach. Our playgroup is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. During school holidays, the playgroup is closed. We work with horizontal grouping, where children of the same age are together in one group. This provides a safe and familiar environment for your child to play and develop. Our pedagogical staff combine the visions of Reggio Emilia, Startblokken and Montessori. We offer special Montessori developmental materials so children can become familiar with this learning method. Additionally, we work with themes that connect to the kindergarten class, using open-ended materials according to the Reggio Emilia and Startblokken vision. We emphasize the process rather than the end product. During the morning, children eat fruit or vegetables and have stories read to them or sing songs. Afterwards, they can play freely in the indoor or outdoor space or participate in an activity. We pay great attention to the self-reliance and autonomy of the child, with our pedagogical staff taking on a calm, supportive role. Our location has its own playground where children can play outside. We collaborate with the primary school and other BSO locations in the region for joint activities and exchange. This gives your child the opportunity to play and learn with different peers.
