Prokino KDV de Hoeksteen

Welcome to Prokino De Hoeksteen, our warm and small-scale daycare centre located at Neutrale Hoek 4b in Maasbracht. We provide care for babies and children from 3 months to 4 years old in one vertical group with a maximum of 16 children per day. This setup creates a homely atmosphere in which older children learn from the younger ones and every child is given space to develop at his or her own pace. Learning through play is central. Our experienced pedagogical staff offer both individual and group activities that connect with the world of experience of young children. We sing, do crafts, read aloud and regularly go on discovery in our own spacious outdoor playground or during short nature walks in the area. These activities not only stimulate language and motor development, but also the social and creative skills of the children. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding according to the home routine, change nappies and offer rest periods in separate sleeping areas. Toddlers receive a healthy snack with fruit and a bread meal, taking any allergies into account. We use the VVE programme ‘Kijk!’ to prepare children for primary school in a playful way. Parents stay informed about their child’s daily experiences, photos and sleep and meal times via the Konnect app. Our permanent team of 11 pedagogical professionals ensures a familiar environment every day in which children feel safe and at home. Together with parents we form a close team around the child; we find open communication and involvement essential. You are always welcome for a tour or a cup of coffee to get acquainted.
