Welcome to Prokino Griffioen POV, located at Rudyard Kipling-erf 123 in Dordrecht. We are a small-scale toddler care facility for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years, offering a warm and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and prepare for primary school. Learning through play is at the heart of our approach. Our qualified staff engage children in conversations, read books aloud, sing songs and organise craft activities. We use the Piramide method, providing appealing themes that match toddlers’ world of experience. Children also enjoy plenty of outdoor play on our own playground with sandbox and various play equipment, learning to interact, listen and share with others. Prokino Griffioen works closely with OBS de Griffioen primary school. All activities are aligned with the school curriculum, ensuring a smooth transition when children turn four. To stimulate each child’s development, we implement Early Childhood Education (VE) programmes that combine language games and group activities, fostering cognitive, social and emotional growth. Flexible day-care options are available, including half-day or full-day sessions. Registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) since 1 May 2013 under number 192889795, parents are eligible for childcare allowance.
