Welcome to Prokino De Veenkabouter BSO, located at Trompstraat 1 in Hoogeveen. As part of Stichting Prokino, we provide professional after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our childcare center creates a warm and trusted environment where children feel safe and can fully develop. At De Veenkabouter, the child is at the center of everything we do. We believe in the power of involved and supportive guidance by our pedagogical staff, who all have the proper education and understand the different developmental stages of children. They follow and stimulate each child's development, connect with what children can do, and provide professional guidance tailored to individual needs. Our unique Activity Program DOENKids! forms the core of our BSO. This program, specially developed for after-school care, offers plenty of sports and play activities where children can choose what they want to do that afternoon. Whether they choose an individual activity or participate in a group activity, the most important thing is that each child gets the space to do what they feel like doing. DOENKids! not only teaches children through play but also stimulates playing together and working together. De Veenkabouter operates from one central pedagogical policy that is fully aligned with stimulating children's development.
