Prokino De Holle Boom BSO

Prokino De Holle Boom is located at Tilber 7 in Hoogeveen and offers after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We provide a safe, active and relaxed place where children can be themselves after school. Our BSO is divided into two age groups: one for children aged 4 to 7 and one for children aged 7 to 13. This way, children are with peers and activities can be tailored to their developmental stage. Our activity program DOENKids! is central to the BSO. This program, developed by Prokino, offers a varied range of sports and play activities every day. Children choose whether to join the group activity or do something on their own. The space we offer children is both literal and figurative: from creative craft corners to movement areas and quiet spots to chill or do homework. At Prokino De Holle Boom, we only work with pedagogical staff who are well trained and know the developmental stages of children. They follow and stimulate the development of each child, build on what the child can already do and offer professional guidance tailored to the child. We create an emotionally safe environment where children can be themselves and where norms and values are self-evident. Our location is open 52 weeks a year, including school holidays. Children can come from the end of the school day until 6.30 pm. We work with fixed groups and fixed pedagogical staff, so that children get to know each other and the supervisors well. This provides peace and trust and makes De Holle Boom a second home for many children.
