Welcome to Prokino After-School Care KC Stadsdennen, located at Vondellaan 28 in Harderwijk. We are part of the Prokino Childcare Foundation and provide care for up to 46 children aged 4 to 12. Space is at the heart of everything we do: space to play, space to relax and, above all, space to choose. Every child is free to decide how he or she wants to spend the afternoon. Our activity programme is built around DOENKids!, a method developed especially for after-school care and packed with sports and games. The activities encourage children to play and work together, but participation is always voluntary. One child may curl up with a book, while another joins a football match, a craft workshop or a creative dance-and-movement assignment. Our indoor and outdoor areas are generous, so every child can find a spot that feels like home. Our pedagogical staff are professional guides who understand that no two afternoons are the same. They provide structure when needed and freedom wherever possible. We work from the Prokino philosophy of ‘together, venture, grow’: together with the child, parents and schools; venturing by offering new activities; and growing by learning continuously with and from the children. Prokino After-School Care KC Stadsdennen partners with primary schools in the immediate area, ensuring we can collect children safely after school and offer them a familiar place straight away.
