IJsterk Prinses Irene

Welcome to daycare Prinses Irene, located at the characteristic Nassaukade in the heart of Amsterdam. We are a location of IJsterk Daycare Centers, a social Amsterdam organization with ten daycare centers in the city center. With us, up to 68 children aged 0 to 4 years are welcome for safe and professional care in a vertical group. Our pedagogical approach focuses on learning and development through play. We work with the VVE method Startblokken, through which we structurally stimulate the language and cognitive development of the children. By caring for children of different ages together in one group, they learn from each other and develop natural social skills. Our pedagogical professionals create a safe and inspiring environment in which every child gets the space to grow at his or her own pace. We are proud to offer quality childcare as a social organization where the development of each child is central. Our location at Nassaukade is easily accessible and forms a warm home for children from the neighborhood and beyond.
