Welkom bij POV Schelfhorst, onze peuteropvanglocatie aan Havezathe 97 in Almelo. Wij maken deel uit van Stichting Humankind en bieden peuteropvang aan kinderen van 2 tot 4 jaar. Onze locatie heeft 16 kindplaatsen en is gehuisvest in basisschool De Tandem in de wijk Schelfhorst.
Wij werken met het VVE-programma (Vroeg- en Voorschoolse Educatie) waarbij we specifieke aandacht besteden aan taalontwikkeling, sociale vaardigheden en motorische ontwikkeling. Onze pedagogische medewerkers bieden individuele aandacht aan elk kind en volgen de ontwikkeling op de voet via ons ouderportaal.
Onze opvang is geopend van maandag tot en met donderdag van 08:00 tot 12:00 uur. We werken vanuit humanistische waarden en zijn een niet-commerciële organisatie. Vrijdag zijn wij gesloten.
