POV Klein Phoenix

Welcome to POV Klein Phoenix, our intimate daycare centre located at Zalmkolk 2 in the heart of Zwolle. We are part of the Doomijn foundation and provide day-care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Our small scale ensures every child is truly seen, heard and feels at home. We follow the Dutch Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’. Through play we foster language and cognitive development so that children enter primary school with confidence. Our qualified staff tune in to each child’s world and offer tailor-made activities: we sing together, create arts & crafts with natural materials, read stories in our cosy corner and explore our green courtyard every day. Care and daily rhythm are central. We change nappies and give bottle feeds according to the home routine, serve healthy snacks and warm meals, and provide peaceful naps in separate bedrooms with individual beds. Food allergies or special diets are safely accommodated. Parents stay connected through the Doomijn app with photos and updates on sleep and meals.
