Kinderwoud 't Peuterkonijn

Welcome to Kinderwoud 't Peuterkonijn, our warm toddler care location at Melkkelder 84 in Drachten. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Together with parents, we aim to optimally support each child's development so they can grow up with joy and confidence. At 't Peuterkonijn, we work thematically with play-based learning at the core. We offer a varied activity program that connects with toddlers' world of experience. Making music, creative activities, reading aloud and outdoor play are fixed components of our program. We work according to Kinderwoud's pillars: playful learning, movement, music and healthy nutrition. These are scientifically based and contribute positively to young children's development. Our experienced pedagogical staff provide a warm, secure atmosphere where each child has space to develop. We pay attention to each child's uniqueness and personality. Our vision is summarized in GEZien: Security, Individuality and Self-development. We work with a preschool education program (VE) that prepares children for primary school. Toddler care is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. During the morning, children are offered a healthy lunch. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Our location has a secure playground where children can play and discover to their heart's content. Kinderwoud 't Peuterkonijn is part of Kinderwoud, a large childcare organization in Friesland. We stand for high-quality care with child development at the center.
