Kinderwoud Krullevaar

Welcome to Kinderwoud Krullevaar, our small-scale daycare centre located at De Vogelweide 5 in Drachten. We are part of Stichting Oink! and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Our horizontal groups consist of two baby groups, two toddler groups and one 3+ group, ensuring every child receives care and attention suited to their developmental stage. At Krullevaar we follow the principles of early childhood education (VVE). We stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a warm, safe environment where discovery and growth are central. Children are welcomed by familiar faces every day, giving them a sense of security and continuity. Our spacious, cosily furnished group rooms invite children to play and learn. We also love to use our own garden and the indoor play hall, which features a train track, construction materials, blocks and other challenging resources. Outdoor play and nature experiences are just as important as indoor activities; we regularly take the children outside. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, nappy changes and quiet moments in separate sleeping areas. Toddlers enjoy a warm lunch and healthy snacks together. We also offer toddler care from Monday to Friday, 08:30–12:30, during which the children share lunch with us. We believe it is important that parents feel confident about our childcare.
