Kinderwoud De Draitol

Welcome to Kinderwoud De Draitol, our toddler care facility located in the heart of Brede School de Drait at Flevo 190 in Drachten. We provide care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a warm, secure environment where every child is truly SEEN. Our location accommodates up to 32 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 2015. Our approach centers on learning through play and development. We operate from three core values: Security, Individuality, and Self-development. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe foundation where children can discover the world through play. We specifically focus on the 2-4 age group and offer preschool education (VE) to stimulate the broad development of all toddlers, including extra support for children who need it. Our facility consists of two atmospheric classrooms: "Little Bear" and "Pippeloentje", each with its own character. Indoors we have a play hall, while outdoors children can enjoy our brand new playground specially designed for natural play. Here children can learn and discover in adventurous yet safe ways. We speak both Dutch and Frisian, allowing children to grow up bilingual through play. Our activity program focuses on learning through play, movement, music, and healthy nutrition. We provide daily healthy lunches and varied activities that match the developmental stage of toddlers. Parents stay involved through our own app where we share every milestone and smile.
