Welcome to pov joekie, our daycare centre located at Slauerhoffstraat 2 in Spijkenisse. We are an official branch of Partou and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Since 1 January 2023, we have been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 225905875. At pov joekie, we work with horizontal groups, caring for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in age-specific groups. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to monitor and stimulate the development of young children. We offer pre-school education (VE) according to the recognised programme ‘Uk & Puk’. Through themes such as “gosh it’s hot”, “what are you wearing today?” and “giants and dwarfs”, children learn language, numeracy, social skills and motor skills through play. Our space is designed with different corners where children can play, explore and rest. We have a safe indoor and outdoor area where children can move, cycle, play in the sand and experience nature. We regularly go on excursions to the library, park or petting zoo nearby. Parents are actively involved in these outings. We provide a homely atmosphere where every child feels seen. Our staff take care of nappies, bottle feeding and warm meals. In case of allergies or special dietary requirements, we consult with parents and adjust the menu accordingly. Through the Partou app, parents receive daily photos and messages about how their child has experienced the day. We value personal contact highly. Our location manager Conny Rieborn is always available for questions or a tour. We work together with parents to create a safe and familiar environment where children can grow and develop.
