Welcome to Potje Knor Ganzebloem KDV Hobbit, our warm and secure daycare center located at Gandalf 2 in Geldrop. For 25 years, we have been providing care for the youngest children, originally starting as a playgroup and now developed into a full-fledged daycare where children aged 0 to 4 years feel at home. Our location operates with one vertical group accommodating a maximum of 16 children who play and learn together. This setup offers the perfect balance between security and challenge, where older children learn from the younger ones and vice versa. For the youngest children, we follow the home rhythm as much as possible, ensuring a smooth transition and helping your child feel comfortable quickly. Our toddler program, known as 'De Hobbit', is specially designed for children from 2 years and 3 months old. This group of maximum 16 toddlers gathers five days a week from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We work with recognizable themes that connect to your child's world of experience. Every day we offer playfully educational activities, both with the whole group and in smaller groups or individually. For children who need extra VVE support, there is the possibility to participate four sessions per week. Our outdoor space is directly adjacent to the group, allowing children to play safely and under supervision in their own familiar environment. The natural playground invites exploration and adventure, while the proximity to the kindergarten classes enables a gentle transition to primary school. After 12:30 PM, we eat sandwiches together and children who need it get the rest to sleep for a while. Extended care is also available, keeping you flexible in your childcare needs. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff is ready every day to give your child the care and attention they deserve.
