Poppiez Blijham BV

Welcome to our Poppiez location in Blijham. Since September 2017 we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 at our site in Blijham. The childcare centre has one horizontal group with a maximum of 16 places. Our qualified staff use an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme to stimulate toddlers’ development in language, numeracy, social-emotional skills and motor skills. The programme purposefully prepares children for the start of primary school. We are located in the building of Christelijke Basisschool de Loopplank at Hoofdweg 170, Blijham. The room is arranged with a large table for eating or crafting and various play corners. Staff furnish the space in an attractive and challenging way, paying attention to the current theme and to emerging literacy and numeracy. Sufficient play and learning materials are available for children to make discoveries. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 18:00. From Monday to Thursday we offer Early Childhood Education (VVE) from 8:30 to 12:30. You can choose which two mornings you wish to use; VVE can also be combined with regular childcare. Both regular and extra care are possible. We regard parents as partners in stimulating their child’s development and align our parent policy accordingly.
