Poppedijn Kantens

Welcome to Poppedijn Kantens, a warm and small-scale daycare centre located at Pastorieweg 6 in the heart of Kantens. We are part of Stichting Goud Kinderopvang and have provided trusted childcare for up to eight children aged 0 to 4 since 2012. Our home-like setting is organised into horizontal age groups, ensuring babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers each receive the calm and stimulation suited to their developmental stage. Our qualified pedagogical staff are trained in caring for children from birth. The youngest ones have their own baby corner and a quiet sleeping area where they can rest safely. Toddlers are challenged with engaging pre-school lessons that follow the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme. Through play they practise language, numeracy and social skills, preparing them well for primary school. We believe children thrive in a familiar environment. That is why we work with consistent caregivers and maintain close communication with parents. Our aim is to offer one childcare solution: children can stay with us from babyhood right through to pre-school age without parents needing to switch settings. We are open Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 18:00 and employ only qualified pedagogical staff who provide a safe, loving and stimulating day for your child every day.
