Poort Kids

BSO Poort Kids is a small-scale after-school care facility located at Europalaan 933 in Almere Poort. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our mission is to give children the space to grow into confident and balanced individuals. Our team of skilled and motivated childcare professionals creates a homely environment where every child receives the attention they deserve. Our philosophy is built on three core values: Joy, Togetherness, and being your authentic self. Together with parents, we create a living environment that closely matches the home situation. We offer a varied programme including creative workshops designed to discover and stimulate each child’s talents. During school holidays, we organise themed outings, actively involving children in the planning process so that everyone’s ideas are heard. Healthy nutrition is a priority. After school, children receive a healthy lunch with fresh fruit and vegetables. Our hot meals are provided by Spoony and are 90% organic, with great variety, healthy fats, low salt and no added sugar. All meals are prepared according to HACCP guidelines, ensuring safety and quality. Our facility uses infrared heating, which warms objects rather than air. This reduces air circulation and dust, contributing to a healthy indoor climate—especially beneficial for children with allergies. We also collaborate with Logopedie Barbara and Spoony to support children’s development. BSO Poort Kids offers before-school, after-school and holiday care.
