Welcome to PO de Pauwoog, our professional toddler care facility located in the heart of Utrecht-Leidsche Rijn. We are situated in the beautifully renovated building of OBS Het Zand at Pauwoogvlinder 18, where in classroom 4 we have created a warm and safe environment for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. As part of Gro-Up Childcare, we work intensively within the Broad School Het Zand, ensuring your child grows up in a rich learning environment where education, childcare, welfare, and culture come together. At PO de Pauwoog, we believe every toddler is unique and develops at their own pace. Our mixed group beautifully reflects the multicultural neighborhood we are located in. We welcome both toddlers with an indication and playgroup children, allowing your child to grow up in a diverse and inclusive community. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff members Mascha and Jennifer, who guide your child with love and expertise during this important developmental phase. Our approach focuses on expanding your child's developmental opportunities through playful learning. We offer a preschool education program (VVE) specifically designed to prepare toddlers for primary school. This includes language development through reading moments, singing, and interactive language games. Creative expression is central with daily crafting, painting, and other forms of artistic development. We utilize our direct connection to OBS Het Zand's school garden, where children are introduced to nature and the environment in a playful manner. Our location is equipped with a specially designed sleeping room where toddlers can rest peacefully when needed. The spacious group room offers various play corners that invite exploration and play. We have a secure inner courtyard with play equipment specifically designed for toddlers. The entire location features secure access, allowing you to bring your child to us with peace of mind. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:50 PM, providing flexible childcare that meets your needs. Through our parent app, we keep you informed about your child's development and share photos and reports of daily activities. We offer half-day care and can accommodate special dietary requirements such as vegetarian or halal meals. Our pedagogical coaches regularly visit the location to coach our team in early childhood education and interaction skills.
