Welcome to Pluk de Dag daycare centre at Dillehof 9 in Oosterhout. We are a small-scale, home-like KDV for children aged 0 to 4, where every child is given the space to develop safely and freely. Personal attention, warmth and trust are at the heart of everything we do. Our permanent, qualified pedagogical staff truly know each child and provide tailored guidance. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., excluding official public holidays. We work with vertical groups, allowing children of different ages to play and learn together. The rooms are cosily furnished with homemade crafts and play corners that invite discovery, play and rest. There is a private outdoor play area, and we go outside as much as possible: fresh air, mud, sand, water and nature are daily ingredients. Every day we offer a varied programme of activities. We bake cookies, paint, craft, read aloud and go on trips to the petting zoo or the woods. Cooking and mealtimes are important pedagogical moments for us: children discover flavours, learn norms and values and practise eating independently. We can also accommodate special dietary wishes or allergies in consultation with parents. Communication with parents is essential to us. Through the secure Klasbord app we share daily photos and a short report of your child’s experiences. We also create a WhatsApp group upon registration for urgent matters, and our monthly newsletter ‘Plukje Plukt’ highlights the best moments of the month.
