Welcome to Plateau kdv Theo Thijssen – location De Peppel, our warm daycare centre at Laak 1 in Assen. We are part of Kindcentrum Theo Thijssen and provide daily care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, safe environment. We work with two clear age groups: the baby group for children 0-2 years and the toddler group for children 2-4 years. Each group has its own playfully designed space that matches the children’s developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff create a “just like home” feeling by combining personal attention, calm and structure with room for discovery and play. We offer a rich variety of activities and materials: building, puzzling, dressing up, drawing, making music and reading. These activities are tailored to each child’s age and needs. Our garden invites outdoor play and nature experiences; children can cycle, run, romp or simply relax. As an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) location, we use the Uk & Puk language programme. Our staff are trained and certified to stimulate language development and carefully monitor each child’s progress through a recognised observation and tracking method. Plateau kdv Theo Thijssen – location De Peppel is open from 07:30 to 18:00. Parents can choose care for 40, 46 or 52 weeks per year. We also offer early morning and extended care. Together we ensure that your child can develop in a positive and safe climate.
