Plantage

In a stately former bank building in the heart of Schiedam you will find our cheerful, small-scale and challenging childcare center Plantage. We provide childcare for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. Childcare center Plantage has four groups. The baby groups Blue Grapes and Forest Violets are intended for children from 0 to 2 years old. Here, discovering and development are central. The groups are adjacent to each other and work together a lot, so there is plenty of room to also explore the adjacent group. For children from 2 to 4 years old there is the toddler group Buttercups. Here, playing together and developing independence are central. The children are playfully prepared for primary school. In addition, we have the vertical group Anemones, where children from 0 to 4 years old are cared for together. The beauty of a vertical group is the connection between the youngest babies and older toddlers. Our pedagogical policy is aimed at offering children a basis from a familiar and safe environment from which they can develop broadly. We work according to the guidelines of KomKids, where we pay a lot of attention to the individual needs of each child. We find it important that children feel safe and secure, so that they get the space to grow and learn. Plantage is open every working day from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Extended care is possible from 7.00 am and until 7.00 pm. These hours are purchased separately and are offered with a minimum number of children.
