Welcome to PIT Christelijk Kindcentrum Impuls, located at Talmaplantsoen 1-3 in the Walburg district of Zwijndrecht. Since 1973, we have been providing both education and childcare for children aged 2 to 13. As part of PIT Kinderopvang & Onderwijs – formed through a merger between SKZ and PCOAZ – we operate under one mission and vision: giving children the right to develop through play, playful learning, learning and learning through play. Our after-school care (BSO) is open on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, including during holidays and study days. The BSO is located within the school building and offers space for 60 children. Our pedagogical staff guide the children after school with a challenging and varied activity program. We work with continuous development lines and tailor activities to the needs of the children, so each child can grow at their own level. Our Christian identity forms the foundation of everything we do. We believe it is important that every child feels seen, heard and valued. That is why we work with the Vreedzaam program to create a safe and positive group culture. Personal attention is central; our staff know each child and guide them with enthusiasm and commitment. Children from Impuls primary school can go directly to the BSO in the same building after school. For before-school care and care on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, we work together with the BSO at ’t Hoenderhok, so parents can always arrange flexible childcare that fits their working hours. We are open every weekday, including during school holidays.
