Welcome to BSO De Schalm, part of PIT childcare & education located at Kerkstraat 60 in Alblasserdam. We provide after-school care for up to 35 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is fully integrated into Christelijk Kindcentrum De Schalm, ensuring seamless continuity between childcare and education. We put children first. We create a safe, familiar environment where children can unwind after school and recharge their energy. Our childcare staff and teachers form one close-knit team, allowing us to closely follow and support each child's development. We work from one pedagogical climate and one vision, so children experience consistency throughout the entire day. Our care takes place in the school building itself. Children don't need to travel; they stay in their familiar environment with familiar faces. We provide care after school and during holidays. During holidays we remain open, so working parents can always rely on us. We work with a fixed team of childcare staff who know the children well and understand what they need after an intensive school day. Communication with parents runs through Social Schools. Through this app you receive messages, can register for meetings and contact our team directly. We highly value parental involvement. Together with you, we work on your child's development.
