PIT christelijk kindcentrum De Notenbalk is located at Bazuinstraat 26 in Zwijndrecht and is one of the integral child centres of PIT child care & education. We provide child care and education along one continuous development line from baby to teenager. For our day-care group (KDV) this means that children aged 0 to 4 receive the very best start in a safe, Christian-inspired environment. Our pedagogical staff and teachers form one team that works from the same mission and vision: every child has a right to develop. We see each child as unique – ‘Nobody is like you’ – and tailor our activities and guidance to what your child needs. Learning through play, exploratory behaviour and language development are central. Where necessary, we provide early additional support so that we seamlessly connect to appropriate education. Communication with parents runs via the Konnect app; you receive photos, videos and messages in a secure environment and can contact our pedagogical staff directly. We also work together with parents in the parent committee and the child centre council, because we believe in a strong partnership for the well-being of your child. In short: at De Notenbalk your baby or toddler gets a familiar place where care and development go hand in hand, from the first sip of milk to the first steps in language and play.
