PIT Christelijk integraal kindcentrum De Twijn

We are PIT Christelijk integraal kindcentrum De Twijn, located at Parallelweg 2 in Alblasserdam. As part of Stichting PIT kinderopvang & onderwijs, we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since March 1, 2021, and accommodates 66 children in our BSO groups. Our after-school care is fully integrated into the school building of Christelijk IKC De Twijn. This allows children to move directly to a familiar environment after school where they are cared for by our pedagogical staff. The care takes place in the same building as the primary school, creating a seamless transition between school and after-school care. We work intensively with the school. The teachers and our pedagogical staff form one team that together ensures the development of each child. This collaboration makes it possible to connect with what happened at school during the day and to continue this in the after-school activities. Our location is housed in a hyper-modern building specifically designed to give children all the space to play, learn and move. The building is designed as the first movement child center in the Netherlands, where the development rights of children are central in all spaces and opportunities we offer.
