Pippi's Kinderopvang

Welcome to Pippi's Daycare located at 't Bosk 26 in the heart of Wommels. Since January 2000, we have been providing a warm home away from home for children aged 0 to 4 years in this former Red Cross building. What started as a small-scale daycare in a living room has grown into a professional facility with one vertical group of up to 14 children. The spacious layout of our building and large outdoor playground give children plenty of room to grow and play. We operate from a child-centered vision where every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff provide a familiar environment where children feel safe to explore. The daily structure offers consistency and consists of fixed moments for eating and drinking, rest, diaper changes, and activities. We start the morning with a shared breakfast where we sing a song and enjoy a cracker with tea, water, or milk. After a diaper change, the youngest children go to sleep while the older children enjoy free play or creative activities such as crafting, drawing, or clay work. Around 11:30 AM, we serve a warm meal at the table in our own group, singing 'enjoy your meal' together. After lunch, there's time for rest and diaper changes again. Children who stay awake engage in quiet activities like reading books or playing with toys. In the afternoon, there's room for a group activity, indoors or outdoors. When weather permits, we make full use of our large outdoor playground. We end the day with fruit and a cracker, when parents pick up their children and we review the day together. Since 2005, Pippi's Daycare has been part of Kidsbest childcare. Our team is led by coordinator Feikje Stapersma and consists of enthusiastic pedagogical staff who care for your child with heart and soul every day. We offer flexible childcare with generous opening hours from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM without minimum required attendance. Before placement, we always conduct a personal intake interview where you receive our information package.
