Pippeloentje

Welcome to Pippeloentje, our daycare center in the heart of Hasselt at Prinsenstraat 22b. As part of the Stichting Kinderdagcentra Zwartewaterland, we provide professional childcare for 77 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is situated in the multifunctional building MFA De Streukeler Veste, where we work with horizontal groups where children of approximately the same age come together. We are a VE-subsidized location, which means we offer pre-school education according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. Our pedagogical staff are coached by a specialized VE-coach who supports them in stimulating the development of young children, with special attention to language, arithmetic, motor skills and social-emotional development. Each group has permanent staff who provide a stable foundation and closely monitor your child's development. Our accommodation is safely and invitingly furnished with various play corners such as a home corner, reading corner, play mat with cars, a shop and a climbing frame. The rooms are equipped with cupboards with play and development materials tailored to the age of the children. Outside we have a sandbox, slide and plenty of space for cycling, running and playing. For the very youngest we have separate sleeping areas that provide rest when needed. At Pippeloentje we find it important that children feel safe and secure. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy in which the development of each child is central. Our staff are professionally trained and hold the required diplomas and certificates.
