Pip

Welcome to Peuteropvang Pip, a cheerful horizontal group for children aged 2 to 4 located at Caeciliastraat 17 in Heerlen. We are part of Stichting Peuteropvang Heerlen, an organisation with over 20 locations in Heerlen and Hoensbroek that guides more than 650 toddlers. At Pip we follow our mission: giving every toddler a good start in life. We do this by learning through play together. Our location provides pre-school education (VE) to a maximum of 16 toddlers per day. Pip's pedagogical professionals guide the children in small, age-based groups so that each child receives the attention they deserve. We work with a clear daily rhythm in which play, language, numeracy and social skills are central. Through singing, reading books and creative activities we stimulate language development. Our own book series featuring Pim and Poes makes reading extra fun and recognisable. Pip's spaces are designed to meet toddlers' developmental needs: challenging, safe and small-scale. We work closely with primary school De Ganzerik, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. Parents can choose between morning or afternoon sessions, with opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.15 to 11.45 and from 12.45 to 15.15. On Wednesday we offer a morning session from 8.15 to 12.15. At Peuteropvang Pip we believe that play is the most powerful way to learn.
