Welcome to Pinokkio daycare, located in community center Mozaïek at the vibrant Zaagmolenstraat 186 in Rotterdam. From the outside you can hardly see what lies behind the facade, but once inside you experience the tranquility of our large, bright group spaces and sheltered nature garden. Pinokkio is a true Rotterdam daycare where children and parents from different cultures meet. This diversity creates a pleasant, warm atmosphere where children quickly feel at home in our cozy, homely environment. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years and stimulate their development in various areas. First, children enhance their social skills through interaction with peers. We create challenging play corners where children can let their imagination run free. Our preschool program Uk en Puk pays much attention to language development and playful mathematics, providing excellent preparation for primary school. Each child gets space to develop their talents, each at their own pace and in their own way. This way every child feels seen and heard, which is beneficial for now and for the future. Our large garden invites outdoor play. In the vegetable garden we plant seeds and follow the growth process of the plants. Together we discover how we can grow healthy food ourselves and enjoy the harvest. This way we encourage children to taste various vegetables and fruits. Healthy living naturally includes exercise. We organize toddler gym and various fun movement games. As a Lekker Fit! location, we prefer to do movement activities in the garden, but in bad weather we use the gym in the community center. Parent involvement is very important to us. We work together with parents on their child's development and are open to their input and ideas.
