PO Pinokkio Geulle

Peuteropvang Pinokkio Geulle is located on the ground floor of primary school Ondersteboven at Hagendoornweg 2 in Moorveld. We are part of MIK & PIW Groep and provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our space is 58 m² and offers up to 16 places, currently serving 17 enrolled children. We are open four mornings a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Our educational programme aligns with the themes used in grades 1–2 of the primary school, ensuring a warm and smooth transition when children move on to primary education. We follow the Early Childhood Education (VVE) approach set by the Municipality of Meerssen, built on three pillars: a shared vision on early education, continuous lines in child tracking systems, and early identification and guidance. Our pedagogical staff meet regularly with the teachers of grades 1–2 to monitor and stimulate each child’s development optimally. We offer a safe, small-scale environment where children can explore and learn through play. Our room was renovated in 2010 and is situated in a quiet, rural setting. We have our own outdoor area and also use the school playground. When weather permits, we spend plenty of time outside.
