Pinokkio Avenhorn (Fuik)

Welcome to Pinokkio Avenhorn (Fuik), our daycare centre located at De Fuik 1 in the heart of Avenhorn. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland and have provided trusted childcare in the region for over forty years. Our site is within walking distance of primary schools De Ieveling and De Sprankeling, making us an integral part of the neighbourhood. Daycare Pinokkio welcomes children from 0 to 4 years old. We organise age-specific groups so every child can develop at his or her own pace. Our pedagogical staff tailor activities to the world of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We offer early childhood education (VVE) to children from 2.5 years onward, laying a solid foundation for the transition to primary school. Parents and staff share responsibility for each child’s upbringing and development. We therefore maintain intensive contact with parents and discuss daily how things are going. We believe our centre should truly belong to the community; collaboration with schools and other partners creates one continuous learning and development line. Our daycare is open from 07:00 to 18:30. We have our own building with quiet sleeping areas and a safe, green outdoor playground where children can romp and explore. We have room for 52 children.
