Pinkeltje

Pinkeltje is a cozy, cheerful and small-scale daycare center in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, located at Wethouder Koolhaasweg 7. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group, where children of different ages play and learn together. Our homely building accommodates up to 32 children and features its own outdoor playground where children can romp every day. At Pinkeltje, the child is central. We find respect for everyone's individuality very important; we appreciate the child as it is. We respond to what children themselves indicate or contribute. This can involve concrete ideas for play or activities, but we also recognize less explicit signals. Listening and looking at each child is essential in this process. Our pedagogical staff are well-trained, love children and have a passion for the profession. They approach the children enthusiastically and are very creative, both in their interaction with the children and in devising and carrying out activities. They create a warm and secure atmosphere where children will feel at ease. Every day we offer varied activities such as playing, crafting, reading, singing and outdoor play. We work with themes ensuring children are challenged and stimulated in all areas. Celebrating birthdays and holidays is important and fun to us. Rain or shine, children get the opportunity to play outside in our safe garden every day. We hope that all children and their parents will have a wonderful time with us. Challenge and (play)fun are our top priorities!
