Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Pinkeltje II, located in the heart of primary school OBS Noorderlicht at Jachtwagenstraat 64 in Purmerend. For 45 years we have been a familiar face in Purmer-Noord, offering toddlers aged 2 to 4 a safe, challenging and above all cozy place to play, discover and grow. As a VVE location (Pre- and Early School Education), we work intensively with groups 1 and 2 of OBS Noorderlicht. Our activities seamlessly connect with the Parnassys learning lines and themes taught at school. This creates a natural continuous line from preschool to primary school, making the transition familiar and relaxed for children. Our pedagogical approach is based on the four pedagogical core objectives of Riksen-Walraven: providing emotional safety, developing personal and social competencies, and helping children internalize social norms and values. We believe every child is unique and deserves to grow at their own pace. Through play, we bring toddlers to a higher level in all developmental areas, always in consultation with parents. Peuterspeelzaal Pinkeltje II is housed within the school buildings of OBS Noorderlicht. This unique location allows us to use the school facilities and creates a familiar environment where toddlers already get acquainted with the primary school world. We work with fixed play and learning corners, offer structured daily rhythms and pay attention to language development, numeracy and social skills. Our professional pedagogical staff are ready to guide your child in a small-scale setting. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, allowing for flexible childcare. Parents stay informed of all activities and developments through our parent app. Together with you, we form a close team around your toddler, because only together can we bring out the best in every child.
