Peutercentrum Pinkelotje

Peutercentrum Pinkelotje is located in the De Wilgenhoek broad school in the north of Berkel en Rodenrijs and is part of the Laurentius Foundation for Childcare. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and secure environment where every child has the space to play, discover and have fun with other children. Our pedagogical staff guide toddlers playfully in their development. We work according to a fixed daily schedule with lots of attention to structure and recognition. Each morning we start in a circle with singing songs, having a circle discussion or reading a book aloud. Then we go through the rest of the morning using daily routine cards. At Pinkelotje we stimulate language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development and counting skills. We work thematically and connect with the primary school's learning lines. This creates a continuous line from toddler care to primary education, making the transition feel natural for children. Our location has a spacious, bright playroom and a nice outdoor playground where children can play outside a lot. We work with small groups of maximum 16 toddlers with 2 pedagogical staff members, ensuring lots of individual attention for each child. Peutercentrum Pinkelotje is not only for children whose parents both work. Even when one or both parents are not working, toddler care is possible. The parental contribution is income-dependent.
