Piet Mondriaan

BSO Piet Mondriaan is located in the modern Kindcentrum Piet Mondriaan at Broekzijdselaan 46C in the heart of Abcoude. Since February 2016 we have provided after-school care for up to 149 children aged 4 to 12 in this bright, spacious building. Our child centre is unique because the public primary school Piet Mondriaan, the local library and our BSO are all housed under one roof. This allows us to already know your child from school and to seamlessly meet his or her needs after the school day ends. When school is over, we welcome the children with a cosy get-together. They receive a drink and a healthy snack, after which they can relax and share stories about their day in a friendly atmosphere. Then it is time to play and discover. We offer a wide range of activities: from arts and crafts, theatre and dancing to sporty challenges such as football and hockey organised together with local sports clubs. Children choose what they enjoy, encouraging their own initiative and helping them develop their unique talents. Our large indoor and outdoor spaces provide plenty of opportunities to move, play and unwind. The playroom and secure outdoor area are designed for different age groups, so every child feels at home. We work with permanent, professional pedagogical staff who already know your child from school and understand what he or she needs. Thanks to the close collaboration with primary school Piet Mondriaan, school and care flow smoothly into one another, making the transition for your child as small and familiar as possible. At BSO Piet Mondriaan, fun, safety and personal attention are paramount. We provide care on school days before and after school, on study days and during school holidays.
