Pico Kerkstraat

BSO Pico Kerkstraat, located in the Hees district of Nijmegen, provides after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 6 years. We follow the Jenaplan educational principle, which encourages children to grow based on their own talents and interests. Our location at Kerkstraat 69 offers spacious indoor facilities and a green outdoor play area where children can run, build, and explore nature. Each afternoon begins with a shared moment at the table. Children can relax after their school day and share how their day went. Afterwards, they choose which activity they want to participate in. We offer a varied program of creative, sports, and nature activities. Children can do crafts, cook or bake, and play outside on the wooden bridge, with water pumps, or on the swing. The activities are designed to stimulate children's development and let them enjoy learning and discovering. During school holidays, all children from the various Pico locations come together at our main location on Florence Nightingalestraat. We then organize a special holiday program including football tournaments, laser gaming, nature adventures, and creative workshops. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and familiar environment where every child feels welcome.
