Pico Fl. Nightingalestraat

Welcome to after-school care Pico Florence Nightingalestraat, part of KION Childcare. Since January 1, 1996, we have been providing care for children aged 4 to 13 at our location on Florence Nightingalestraat 1 in Nijmegen. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 125202222 and have capacity for up to 48 children. Our location operates with two base groups. The first group is called Bello's and accommodates 30 children. The second group is called Pipo's and has space for 18 children. Both groups are vertical groups where children of different ages come together. This gives children the freedom to choose whether they want to play with peers or with older or younger children. We are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and on school-free days. On these days, we also welcome children from after-school care Pico Energieweg. On Wednesdays, Fridays and school-free days, children from after-school care Pico Kerkstraat also come to our location. Through this collaboration, we can ensure sufficient peers and provide appropriate activities for all children. Our pedagogical staff are as much as possible familiar faces for the children. We use the 1ratio calculation tool to ensure we meet all quality requirements. The spaces are designed according to the KION house style and offer plenty of room to play and move. We provide care during study days and vacations.
