Welcome to PG ’t Opstapje, our small-scale daycare centre located at Thorbeckelaan 2 in Maarssen. We provide a homely environment where a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years find a safe and familiar place to grow and play. Our team of experienced childcare professionals follows the ‘Pedagogical Heart’ methodology, placing each child’s development at the centre of our care. At PG ’t Opstapje we use horizontal groups: babies and toddlers are cared for separately from preschoolers, allowing us to perfectly tailor activities and care to your child’s age and developmental stage. We are a certified VVE (pre-school education) location and therefore offer early childhood education. Our activities focus on language development and stimulating your child’s overall development. We read from fun picture and story books and provide play and developmental materials that connect with young children’s world of experience. Our location is quietly situated in the Schilderskwartier neighbourhood and offers a safe play environment. We believe it is important that parents remain involved in their child’s development. Therefore, we regularly inform you through newsletters and photos. Each year we organise a pleasant summer party to which all parents and children are welcome. At PG ’t Opstapje your child is our focus. We offer warm, professional childcare in which your child feels safe and at home.
