Peuterwerk Oebele

Peuterwerk Oebele is a day-care centre run by Kinderopvang KOOS, located on the ground floor of primary school Sint Jozef at Zwarteweg 2 in Nieuw Heeten. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our qualified staff follow a structured, development-oriented daily programme built around monthly themes. Through play we prepare children for primary school and, together with the school, ensure a smooth transition; toddlers regularly visit the reception class. We are officially registered for Early Childhood Education (VVE) and use the Uk & Puk programme. This evidence-based approach stimulates language, numeracy, social and motor skills in a playful way. Each morning session runs from 08:30 to 12:30, so half-day care is standard. Two permanent pedagogical staff know every child well and offer the small group stability, routine and personal attention. Indoors children can read, craft and play games in a homely corner. Outdoors we use the spacious, green playground of Sint Jozef school to run, explore and play in nature.
