Peuterstart 't Kraaiennest

Peuterstart ’t Kraaiennest is part of Junis Kinderopvang and is located on the ground floor of primary school De Hobbitburcht at Havixhorst 252 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe, small-scale and playful environment. Our toddler care is set up as a horizontal group, where children of the same age play and learn together. The space is bright and spacious, with plenty of opportunities to climb, cycle, run and build. We work a lot with natural materials such as sand, clay and paint, which the children can freely experiment with. Outside we have our own fenced playground, which we use a lot when the weather is nice. Peuterstart ’t Kraaiennest works with Early Childhood Education (VE). This means that we playfully work on the development of language, numeracy and social skills. Our pedagogical staff carefully monitor the development of each child and tailor activities to the toddler's world of experience. We offer a fixed daily structure with plenty of room for rest, play and relaxation. The childcare is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:30 to 12:30, only during school weeks. We work closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to the kindergarten class. Parents are actively involved in their child's development and are always welcome to drop by for a chat or advice.
