Peuterstart Poespas

Peuterstart Poespas is a small-scale toddler care facility operated by Junis Kinderopvang, located within the Montessori building at Preludeweg 15 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our educational approach is fully aligned with the Montessori philosophy: children are given space to discover, choose, and learn at their own pace. Our space is located within the school building, and we have access to the gymnasium and school playground. We work with horizontal groups, where children of the same age play and learn together. We provide preschool education (VE) and stimulate language and motor development through targeted activities. We base our program on the interests and needs of the children and challenge them to explore new things. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. During the morning, children receive a healthy snack and drinks. We accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Outdoor play is an important part of our program, where children can run, climb, and play in our safe outdoor space. Peuterstart Poespas works closely with the Alphen aan den Rijn Montessori School. We share the same vision on education and development. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding toddlers and create a warm, safe environment where every child can flourish.
