Welcome to PeuterStart Kikkervisjes, a small-scale toddler care location of Junis Childcare at Boterbloemweg 200 in Alphen aan den Rijn. In our bright, homely group space with windows at child height, we welcome up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 every morning. We work in one horizontal group, ensuring all toddlers are the same age and we can fully focus on their developmental stage. At Kikkervisjes, everything revolves around discovering, playing and growing at one's own pace. We often engage in creative activities with paint, sand or clay and provide plenty of space for climbing, cycling and running in and around the playroom. Our own vegetable garden is a beloved spot where children learn about vegetables, fruit and the natural world around them. As an official pre-school education location (VE), we offer a program that prepares toddlers for primary school through play. Children with a VE indication receive extra guidance, but all toddlers enjoy our educational activities regardless of indication. We operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, perfectly aligned with young children's morning rhythm. Our dedicated childcare professionals create a safe, familiar environment where every child can be themselves. Due to our small scale, we truly know each child and can optimally respond to individual needs and interests. This way, our Kikkervisjes grow into confident, curious children ready for the next step in their development.
