PeuterStart Atlantis

Welcome to PeuterStart Atlantis, located in primary school De Fontein at De Oude Wereld 52 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a PeuterStart group (2-4 years). Our location is modern and safely designed, featuring a spacious outdoor playground where children can run, cycle or build sandcastles. PeuterStart Atlantis implements the Early Childhood Education (VVE) program. This program offers targeted language and developmental support to give all children equal opportunities when starting primary school. Activities are thematically structured and connect to the world of experience of young children. For the toddler group, we organize weekly toddler swimming sessions at swimming pool De Hoorn. These lessons, held Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00, are provided by certified instructors and familiarize toddlers from 2.5 years playfully with water. We value outdoor time. Daily, we take the children outside for fresh air and movement. Our central hall is regularly used for joint games and activities. The pedagogical staff are familiar faces for the children as they work across multiple groups. PeuterStart Atlantis is part of Junis Childcare and works closely with primary school De Fontein, providing a continuous line from childcare to education. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. For parents requiring earlier care, childcare from 07:00 is possible by arrangement.
