Peuterspelen Tamarinde

Welcome to Peuterspelen Tamarinde, part of TintelTuin, located at Schaarsven 2 in Zaandam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Peuterspelen is the new name for the traditional playgroup: development and playing together are central. Our site is close to a natural play area and a petting zoo, so children can explore and play outdoors regularly. We use special early childhood education programmes (VE) focused on language development, motor skills, social relationships and creativity. This prepares your child optimally for primary school. Activities are tailored to toddlers’ experiences: we craft, sing, read aloud and use themes that match their curiosity. Everything takes place in a safe, familiar environment where every child is given space to develop at their own pace. Peuterspelen Tamarinde works closely with CBS Tamarinde, ensuring a warm handover and allowing children to become familiar with the school environment early on. Children attend 6 hours per week, split over 2 sessions. Children with an early-education indication may attend 12 hours per week, split over 4 sessions. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with care and attention, so every child feels welcome and valued.
